An In-Home Caregiver / Nanny is someone who offers practical assistance for children and their families in a private home. Suitable for: working parents with infants and school age child/ren including child/ren with disabilities. .

FIVE THINGS ABOUT THE IN-HOME CAREGIVER/NANNY PROGRAM:

  • An In-Home Caregiver is processed by the Canadian Government to enhance the quality of family life.

  • The wages of an in-home caregiver are determined by the provinces and in The Province of British Columbia; the average wage amounts to $11.00 per hour. The same hourly wage applies for one or more children! (The rate  per hour for Children with Disabilities is higher).

  • In-Home Caregiver/Nanny undertakes such duties as: personal care, cleaning, laundry, assisting children with homework (age appropriate), organizing play activities for your child/ren (age appropriate), meal preparation and feeding, accompanying to appointments.

  • In-Home Caregiver/Nanny service is not for everyone, so we like to do an initial assessment/screening to see if your family meets the criteria and if this is the right service for you.
